Former foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki made the remakes during a summit at an Iranian university.
Mottaki went on to say that though Imam’s message was of universal nature but he never meddled into internal affairs of other countries.
He emphasized that the revolution led by the great Imam never restricted itself within geographical boundaries and delivered a global message of human and moral values.
Contrary to that, the arrogant powers especially the US has been constantly meddling and interfering into internal affairs of other nations, Mottaki reiterated.
The former foreign minister also said that after the Islamic revolution and under the new social and political circumstances people consider themselves as the main part and contributors to the system in Iran.
The revolution also raised awareness among the several nations across the globe and they now understand their role in determining their destiny and future, he added.
Mottaki also highlighted the significance of famous sayings by the supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that this revolution will not find its true identity without the name and messages of Imam Khomeini.
The foreign minister said that the American policies have met with dead end since Washington constantly violated human rights and had failed to adopt a real democratic system.
Mottaki also said that the recent Islamic Awakening and regional revolutions were deeply inspired by Imam Khomeini's thought and guidelines.
