Hujjat Allah Fada’i, who is the head of the Khomein Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, said: “There are two groups which have different and opposite outlooks. One of the groups intends to show the direct creation of beauty through its art work and the other the group of artists are trying to understand themselves through their art work.”
Fada’i was of the view that art can forever keep different views and opinions in itself, and said: “Art can keep values alive and it is the best means of transferring certain concepts and beliefs to people.”
He also added that this assembly will take place on the 11th of December from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and said: “Most of those who will be participating in this assembly are university students, who belong to the University of Applied Sciences.”
Fada’i also mentioned that 3 works of art will be chosen as winners and presented with prize money. “The assembly will also thank and praise 10 people and give a commemorative tablet and other cultural presents.”
The head of this Culture and Islamic Guidance Department also stated that, the works of art presented in this exhibition will be open for the public to view for a period of one week, from the 14th to the 20th of December, at the Aftab Gallery in Khomein.
