Imam’s family members and friends say that he used to live in a simply built house in the holy Iraqi city of Najaf during the exile period. It was very difficult for Imam to face very dry and hot weather of Najaf during summer season.
So some well-wishers offered to rent for Imam at a pleasant site somewhere near Najaf. Imam had rejected the offer by sayign that how can a rent a house at a pleasant site while many middle or poor class people were grappling with economic problems back in Iran.
