Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Ali Ansari, one of the prominent Imam’s pupil and fellow has recalled that once Imam said, "Would you please pass my glasses. I want to study."
When I took his glasses off the table, I saw some dust sitting on the glass.
After cleaning the glasses with a paper towel, presented them to Imam. He put the glasses on his eyes in order to examine a book or text.
This is while I carelessly intended to throw away the crumple handkerchief or the used towel paper, but the Imam noticed and said, "Mr. Ansari, if you do not want to use the handkerchief anymore, give it to me." This is still usable and should not be thrown away right now.”
In my opinion, Imam was extra cautious that any government rank or positon would not lead to expansion and development in life. Imam prevented formalities throughout his life.
