The winners of an international book reading competition about Imam Khomeini have been announced in presence of representatives from international department of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works and Sahar International Urdu service.
At least 10 successful participants were picked up through raffle draw and awarded with cash prizes at the ceremony.
The Fajr competition had been managed with close coordination of the Sahar International Urdu service on the eve of 39the anniversary of Islamic Revolution.
The book “Narrative of Awakening” which recounts ups and downs of Imam Khomeini’s ideological, intellectual and political biography and recalls events of the history of Islamic Revolution had been chosen for the participants in order to take part in the competition.
Imam Khomeini's works cover a range of fields including jurisprudence, philosophy, poetry and theology. It is noteworthy that several of Imam’s works have been translated into dozens of languages over the past few years. The works are also available in digital library section of this website.
