The tourists visited Imam’s historic residence where the late founder of the Islamic Republic had opted to live after the victory of the Islamic revolution in 1979.
They were deeply impressed by Imam’s simple life style and his moral virtues and divine character.
The guests also visited a nearby Hosseiniah, a place for religious gatherings, where Imam used to receive officials and people from various walks of life on daily basis and delivered lectures and speeches on a range of topics to address domestic and international issues.
The tourists were also briefed about a nearby art gallery where Imam’s theological works and objects regarding the history of revolution have been displayed.
The sites attributed to Imam are visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists, intellectuals and scholars from across Iran and different parts of the world each year.
The victory of Islamic revolution at sensitive juncture of history revived the religious, spiritual and moral values, confronted colonial agenda and changed balance of power in the interest of oppressed nations across the various parts of the globe.
