Martyr Seyyed Mostafa Khomeini, born in the Iranian holy city of Qom in 1930, was as talented that he achieved the level of Ijtihad (extracting decrees form basic Islamic sources) in his early youth.
Mostafa accompanied Imam as a sincere companion since the very beginning days of Imam Khomeini’s struggle against the Pahlavi regime and its backers
Mostafa was arrested by the Shah spy agency know as SAVAK for several times and ultimately sent to exile to Turkey.
Mostafa later continued his struggle against Pahlavi regime alongside his father during the exile time in the holy city of Najaf.
He had also devoted himself to religious and theological research and studies during this period of time.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mostafa Khomeini, who was considered as a theologian of top caliber, was mysteriously martyred at the midnight of October 23, 1977.
His proved as a preface to the victory of the Islamic Revolution that resulted in overthrow of Pahlavi Regime.
For that reason, Imam Khomeini in a historic statment had credited his martyrdom as hidden Divine intervention.
