Imam Khomeini adopted very simple life style before and after becoming the leader of the Islamic Republic in 1979. This had attracted and appealed millions of devotees from around the globe to appreciate Imam for following the footsteps of the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors.
Imam always avoided form leading a luxurious life and instead paid all his attention to fulfill the needs of oppressed and needy.
Accepting a suggestion by Mr.Jamarani, a well learned and pious cleric, Imam started living in simple a simple residence and used parts of it as office works, where he used to held meetings with senior officials as well as received the world leaders.
The site is now visited by thousands of pilgrims and tourists from across the globe. They are deeply impressed and influenced by Imam’s commitment towards oppressed people of the world
Millions have appreciated and hailed Imam for carrying out great jobs for the entire Muslim Ummah and oppressed nations.
A Hosseiniah, a place for reglious gathering was attached to Imam's house where he addressed officials and people from various walks of life.
