Imam has had well command over several academic fields and knowledge disciplines including Quranic interpretation, Hadith, Jurisprudence, philosophy and mysticism.

An international summit has recently been held at Milad tower in the Iranian capital, Tehran on Monday. The summit was attended by the intentional scholars, academic figures and seminary lecturers and university professors .
The summit has been held with close coordination of several ministries and institutions.
A senior Iranian cleric at the summit said that the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Republic thought have been a manifestation and reflection of the Quranic teachings. Hojjat al-Islam Majid Ansari made remarks during an international summit which was held to analyze the Quranic thought of Imam Khomeini.
Ansari, the currently Vice President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs also emphasized that Imam’s dynamic thought have been an echo of Quran and the Quranic perspectives were largely evident in his social and political life.
He went onto say that Imam used to maintain that Imam’s views on mysticism show that the holy book of Quran and the mankind are manifestation and sign of exalted God, the Almighty. The mankind also can potential and practically pay the way to perfection by treading the divine path.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ansari strongly denounced the exaggeration and extremism, saying they contradict the Quranic teachings.
The scholar added that the terrorist group such as Daesh have been result of extremism and have been desperately attempting to tarnish the image the divine school of thought and the divine scripture.
It is mention to worthy that Ayatollah Hasssan Khomeini, the grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic, former Iranian President Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, he Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati and several other senior officials were in attendance at the international conference.

Addressing to the gathering, Rafsanjani, the current head of Expediency Council said that Imam Khomeini’s great spirit and dynamic thought were extracted from Quran and the conduct of the people of the Houshold of the holy prophet of Islam.
The senior cleric also emphasized that Imam revived Islam at a very sensitive juncture of history when the East and the West had been plunged into materialism and moral decline.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini in his lecture highlighted the significance of Quranic and views comprehension among Imam’s dynamic thought.
He also descried Ayatollah Rafsanjani as fellow of Imam and hailed his style for Quranic interpretation.
It is worth to mention that Ayatollah Rafsanjani has an exegesis on the holy Qruan.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati made the remark in a press conference on Tuesday, adding that over 640 papers by Iranian and foreign scholars have been submitted to the secretariat of the event.
The Quran and Etrat deputy of the Iranian culture ministry said the conference on “Quran in Imam Khomeini’s Seerah and Thought” will be held in Tehran on Sunday, November 1.

He noted that there has been a year of planning for the international conference, which is chaired by Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati.
The scientific and scholarly work for the conference has been done by the Imam Khomeini (RA) Research Center, he added.
Earlier Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati said, the themes of the international event include the importance of Quran in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) view, Quran interpretation principles in view of Imam Khomeini (RA), manifestation of Quranic teachings in Imam Khomeini’s political and social Seerah, and Quranic ethics in Imam Khomeini’s deeds and words, IRNA news agency reported.
He went on to say that the ministries of Education, Science, Research and Technology, and Sports and Youths Affairs, as well as the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), University Jihad (Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research), Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly, and World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought cooperate in holding the conference.
