The 25th cultural festival is being held in Iran Markazi (Central) Province and is being attended by university students, lectures and professors.
The students visited Imam Khomeini’s ancestral house which is visited by hundreds of pilgrims and tourists from across Iran and the world each year.
They students were deeply impressed by simple life-style adopted by the father of the Islamic Revolution through his lifetime.
Speaking to the students, Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Jawad Rizvi, the representatives of the institute for the compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works said that the country’s today advances and progress were obliged to the untiring efforts of Imam Khomeini and martyrs.
Rizvi went onto say that the one of the important duties of the students is to introduce and promote Imam’s dynamic thought and ideals.
The students were also briefed about the key events which led to the downfall of monarchy and victory of the Islamic Revolution. They were also informed about precious works of Imam Khomeini covering the various fields including jurisprudence, philosophy, poetry and theology.
The father of the Islamic Revolution truly exemplified the true and genuine teachings of the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors in his lifestyle. A large number of pilgrims visit his simple residences in Tehran, Qom and city of Khomeini to closely see his simple lifestyle.
Following decades of constant struggle, the Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini merged triumphant and accomplished the victory. The Islamic-democratic system establish by the great Imam brought great status and confidence to the Iranian nation and rest of the Islamic world and oppressed people.
