Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Akbar Mohtashemipour said in an interview that the world religious and spiritual leader had never been after gaining reputation or promoting his religious authority or display publicity throughout his life.
He added that the great Imam had never distributed his academic works or the collection of his jurisprudence decrees from public or personal funding among followers.
Pointing to Imam’s simple life-style and his devotion for the people, Mohtashemipour said that Imam used to sit after performing evening prayer in mosque or a public place to attend the problems of public masses.
People form Imam’s close circle say that Imam had never allowed his academic works to be published from public funding.
It is noteworthy that the founder of the Islamic Republic had distributed his farms lands among farmers, needy and poor people in the historic city of Khomein.
Imam opted to adopt a very simple life style before and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution under his wise leadership in 1979. Imam showed his great commitment for the oppressed people and nations.
