Iranians along with people in other countries marked the International Quds Day in solidarity with Palestinians against the Israeli atrocities.
The demonstrations are being held in another show of support for the oppressed Palestinian nation in the face of Israeli occupation and atrocities.
Quds Day is held annually on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan during which demonstrators call for the liberation of Palestine and an end to Israeli occupation.
In August 1979, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, declared the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month International Quds Day, a day of global solidarity with Palestine.
Millions of people in different countries have also staged massive rallies in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation, voiced their anger at the policies of the Israeli regime and its allies and calling for the liberation of Palestine.
Muslims in dozens of countries are attending Quds Day rallies to support the Palestinians and condemn the Israeli occupation.
Massive rallies are also underway across Iran on International Quds Day.
Iranians from all walks of life numbering in the millions have taken to the streets in the capital Tehran and other major cities and towns throughout the country to once again vent their anger at the Israeli regime’s brutal oppression of Palestinians over the past decades.
The ralliers are also carrying placards and chanting anti-Israel slogans, condemning the Zionist regime’s violence against Palestinians amid the silence of the international community.
A large number of local and foreign journalists are covering the anti-Israeli rallies across Iran.
