All through the day and night the Imam did not waste even one minute of his time. Taking into consideration the circumstances of his age and amount of activity that he engaged in, he would still devote a specific amount of time in three intervals (each between half an hour to one hour) for members of the household so that anyone of us who wanted to see him and discuss our problems could do so in the intervals. Normally at these sessions, the Imam was focused spiritually and emotionally on the family and would not leave any question that we posed to him unanswered. He would never ever take the initiative to mention the issues at these sessions and desired that members of the household use the time to mention their problems on the basis of exigency. If for any reason due to paucity of time he refrained from answering a question, he would make sure to answer it at another opportune moment.
Name of the narrator: Fereshteh A’rabi (the Imam’s granddaughter)
